Overview
It seems that pol.is is used to organize conversations. tkgshn.icon Looking at the HP

This tool is designed to enable groups to make democratic decisions. It allows people to come together, share problems, and find feasible compromises.
Everyone is given the same "credit" and can delegate it as needed. Individuals who are widely trusted can receive bonuses.
Pol.is is used to convey emotions, opinions, facts, etc. It helps in finding feasible compromises. By adopting QV as the decision-making system, consensus can be achieved. I'm curious to see how far this can be utilized. tkgshn.icon

There was a rough explanation before creating an event.
Delegation
Deliberation
Election
When creating an event, the following information is required:
- Name
- Overview
- Invited participants
- Other settings
The following periods need to be set:
- Overall duration
- Duration for delegation
- Duration for deliberation (also referred to as "conversation")
- Duration for voting

I managed to do it. tkgshn.icon
First, it seems that you decide "who will participate."
"Let's start with why you are here."
This voting system is something I've never seen before. tkgshn.icon
Someone thought you should have the right to speak in this discussion, so they gave you some credits.
So, it's like sending words to inoue2002.icon and u7693.icon whom I invited.
In other words, it feels like being an expert in the debate of "Kinoko no Yama vs Takenoko no Sato."
If you feel that you are not suitable for this discussion, you can transfer it to someone else.
However, only invited participants can do this.
You need at least 25 credits to participate in the decision-making process.
I remember choosing 99 for the whole thing.
Initially, everyone has 99 credits.

After this, it's now the "I'm good" turn.
Next actions cannot be taken yet.
Some updates u7693.icon
Does this have something to do with it? @tkgshn I sent it without permission tkgshn.icon
Hey, let me know u7693.icon
I was about to mention you on Slack tkgshn.icon
Understood u7693.icon
Sad tkgshn.icon
I tried sending 10 credits to Yo-kan.
My credits decreased.

I hope the conversation turn comes soon. tkgshn.icon
I think more technical talk is needed regarding the Transfer system. "What do you mean by 'more technical talk is needed regarding the Transfer system'?" u7693.icon I don't think the implementation itself is that difficult. It's more about the distribution ratio and specific values, right? u7693.icon
I still want to create a practical DAO. u7693.icon It could be about running an OSS or providing services. u7693.icon Well, since OSS development involves multiple people working together and self-driving, I think it's fine to call it a DAO as well. u7693.icon I have no objections to that, completely agree. tkgshn.icon
Based on what I see from RxC Voice, it seems that only small votes like "Kinoko vs Takenoko" can be conducted. u7693.icon I think it will change significantly depending on how much Pol.is can be utilized. If we can create a discussion mechanism like Taiwan, it will be quite impactful. tkgshn.icon 🤔🤔🤔 u7693.icon
People who are currently working on DAO seem to succeed because they are consciously aware. Looking at the conspiracy theory community, I feel that reality is not so simple. u7693.icon In the context of those who have been Purged, it's more like a confirmation of whether the system works with a limited number of highly conscious individuals. tkgshn.icon That makes sense. It's a separate issue from whether everyone should participate in voting. u7693.icon
It allows for situations like "I'll delegate this topic to someone who seems knowledgeable." tkgshn.icon
And whether it can withstand malicious intent is another issue. It's worth discussing Civil resistance. Technically, it can withstand it IdenaOnePager, but are there any other vulnerabilities? u7693.icon If that's the case, it's quite an old concept. It's strange that it takes so long to implement. u7693.icon
I love DeepL tkgshn.icon
"Liquid Democracy" is proposed as a modern practice of collective decision-making that combines the characteristics of direct democracy and representative democracy. The argument is that by allowing voters with more information to vote on behalf of other voters, better decision-making becomes possible. To evaluate the validity of such claims, we are studying liquid democracy as a means to discover underlying truths. We re-examine recent models by Kahng et al. 2018, criticize their modeling assumptions, and conclude with three negative results that are more generally applicable to liquid democracy. In particular, we first identify cases where natural local mechanisms perform much worse than extreme methods such as direct voting or complete delegation to a common dictator. Second, we show that delegating to voters with less information significantly increases the probability of discovering the truth. Finally, we demonstrate that determining the delegation that maximizes the probability of discovering the truth is computationally difficult. What does this mean..?
If there is a "correct answer" in voting:
1. All voters directly vote to decide.
2. One dictator decides.
3. Some voters vote on behalf of others through delegation.
In comparison to 1 and 2, 3 has a lower probability of discovering the "correct answer." u7693.icon
Furthermore, finding a delegation method that maximizes the probability of obtaining the "correct answer" is computationally difficult. u7693.icon
